Teofilo Castro, Carlos Castro’s uncle, founded the musical group Los Claudios de Colombia in 1976. This band was a contemporary of other better known groups like Los Hispanos and Noel Petro, which ruled the Colombian music of the seventies. Thirty years later, Carlos Castro decided to take up the legacy of his uncle by forming the band again with other artists and amateur musicians. The group organized not only musical events but exhibitions that incorporated Colombian aesthetics and folk traditions of the holidays.
Claudio Ligero, Claudio Iglesias, Jean Claudio Van Dame, Claudio Tarazona, Claudio Licona, Claudio Vega, Claudio Toquica, and others, have been part of the Project.
