Mythstories

These works explore the relationship between Myth and history; the series consists of a group of large-scale woven tapestries that illustrate contemporary myths by interlacing imagery from medieval tapestries and twenty-first-century news media.

“Myth is much more important and true than history. History is just journalism and you know how reliable that is. Myth really captures the true essence and consciousness of the collective soul.” - Joseph Campbell
